What does your horse do the 'other' 23 hours of the day?
Ever wondered how your horse's life may impact on his behaviour? Professor Jan Ladewig of Copenhagen University believes what happens during the 'other' 23 hours of your horse's day – when they are not being ridden – matters a great deal.
I have been lucky enough to see Professor Ladewig speak on the subject of horse welfare, behaviour and management on several occasions. This talk, originally given at the 2014 International Society of Equitation Science conference was so good, he was asked to repeat it at the annual conference again last year. His talk was filmed and now has been shared on Youtube.
If you would like to learn how to improve your horse's quality of life, I would wholeheartedly recommend you watch this film.
